- 2.0l Zetec installation with standard injection system ? Things to look out for - use 1.6l sump, use 1.8l flywheel and clutch (over 2.5 Kg lighter!), watch out for water pump drive direction, can use standard CAT if supplied, needs plenum chamber modifying, steering route needs looking at (fisher will trial fit).
- Gearbox, which type ? MT75 will fit but is heavy, type 9 preferred especially in BGH long first style.
- Wheels ? Use 6 x 13 or 6 x 14 with 185/60 tyres, Yoko A520 are a good compromise for the road.
- Lights ? Standard rear lights are "Elise" type - i.e. approx 3" brake/red (2), indicator (2), fog, reversing, also supplied are number plate, front head lights, indicators, side repeaters and perspex head light covers.
- Wiring loom ? includes radio and front driving light feeds (with full beam actuation).
- Interior ? Instrument pack includes ETB clocks (speedo (electronic odo), tacho, fuel, water temp and oil pressure), carpet set and tunnel cover seen. Door locks/interior handles are from a metro, exterior handles are from a Dolomite. Heater is from a mini along with the full wiper assembly.
- Brake cylinder ? Sierra with servo is too big, any small non servo OK, Fiesta or Mk1/2 Escort favourite or one owner has used a Micra servo version (very small and just fits). Bias bar system not needed for road use. Standard Sierra (incl. estate) hubs, drums and disks/calipers are all OK.
