Quite a bit has been going on it the past few months but mainly in odd hourly stints when time allow, so to update you on the wiring stuff. I have fitted all of the lights, connected all there was to connect and finally got the finished loom from Ian at Lightning Looms. This was then installed and the rest of the electrics fitted. I then followed the instructions on how to start her up and - you guessed it, nothing. A couple of phone calls and emails later the fault was diagnosed as not being given and therefore not fitting the large strip fuses between the battery and the main power circuits. Doh. On the body work side I think the only modifications are that I have depressurised (drilled a hole) in the gas shocks that were being used to hold the bonnet up. These seemed to be too powerful and were pushing the bonnet forward and making it impossible to get a good, consistent gap between the bonnet and the main tub. Problem solved for now, I will look for some weaker shocks on my next scrap yard visit (poss. Citroen AX rear door). I have also made up a mock dash and fitted the instruments ready for the grand turn on.
