Spent the last few Saturdays fitting the hood. This was fairly straight forward apart from trying to fit the self tapping studs into the fibreglass for the hood base fixing. The hood frame went on OK and after a couple of trial fittings and then gluing/un-gluing, the hood eventually went onto the header rail without too many creases. Finally the sidescreens were put into place and the front edges trimmed to fit to door frames but the connecting angle irons that were supplied left the windows at the wrong angle. So I made up some more angle irons in Ally from the greenhouse waste and then the doors fitted the body OK but the side screens will need to be re-made as they are too small for the hood opening.
