Had a good run up to Sittingborne for the SVA re-test, car went well and sat at about 70 all the way on the motorway without any problem. Temperature was down below freezing in places which made sure I stayed awake. SVA went well with the emissions passing first time, brake tests going well (servo on an off), all of the changes to the brake pipes were OK and the restrictor in the fuel filler was fine. All was well until I had problems aligning the head lamps (right) and also the hand brake cable gave way on the brake test. After a bit of fiddling on the road side I managed to clamp up the hand brake sufficiently to pass and also put in a spacer to help align the head lamps. At 12.15 pm a MAC certificate was issued. The run back went well again sitting at 70+ all of the way with a few squirts of acceleration to check it is OK. Handling is a bit rough at the moment, I need to get it down to Fishers for a full set up.
